This is my new baby: Deadpool v3 001 signed by Brian Posehn.
The guys at my local comic shop/money dumping ground, Heroes Haven, had heard about what happen to my stepfather and wanted to do something for me… They know that I *love* Deadpool, so they all chipped in and got Brian to sign this when he was in town for signings (I couldn’t go due to work). The guys surprised me with it when I finally had time to pick up my subs that had piled up in my box.
This is why I’m so adamant about supporting local comic shops and book stores. All of the staff there are funny, knowledgeable, willing to talk to everyone (and not in the nerdy condescending way), know all of theur regular’s names and just genuinely great guys who love their job. I can’t thank them enough for giving me such an awesome gift.
